From award winning bars like the Lyaness next to the Thames, to Scarfes Bar at the Rosewood, London has a huge array of bars and pubs to explore. The Aubrey is a firm favourite of Ellens, whilst Kevin struggles to decide between The Blind Pig and The Flask. For views 12th knot is stunning.

London has a bustling food scene and Sushi Atelier is a great option for unfussy omakase whilst Fischers transports you to the grand cafes of Vienna and The Bleeding Heart​ a wonderful French bistro. Fancy some Fish and chips?  The Seashell of Lisson Grove  is a gem.

We are fortunate to have an abundance of beautiful squares, green spaces and parks. Regents Park with its ponds and floral gardens are a peaceful oasis in the capital whilst Primrose Hill and Hampstead Heath offer stunning views across the city.

Ballet has played a huge part in Ellen's journey, so the Royal Opera House​ is a special place; visit the rooftop cafe to escape the bustle of Covent Garden. The National Portrait Gallery has recently been refurbished and is great to explore along with it's hidden bar.

Caffeine fuels us all and Kiss The Hippo is a firm favourite of the couple when in need of a fix. If you're on the go Perky Blenders is fantastic, otherwise if Tea is more your thing, stop by at Mariage Frère.

The capital has an array of shops and markets. One of Ellen and Kevin's favourite spots is Borough Market, where Kevin bought Ellen her first pork pie (she was not a fan). The Marylebone Farmers' Market is also a great Sunday spot for artisanal cheese and baked goods.
